Heath’s POV

It was Saturday and nothing was relaxing about the day. My mind was orbiting the field of my thoughts and worries. Each one hitting me right in the heart and making me miserable. Which wasn’t a new thing anymore. I had been like that since the night Hope and I had a little chat about marriage. Couple of sentences and I was utterly and thoroughly destroyed for eternity.

The day started out as usual. I was sleeping and Sebastian's obnoxious habit of making noise with kitchen utensils woke me up. I hadn’t slept until four in the morning, turning and twisting due to the rising anxiety whirring in my stomach. I was just so anxious and tired—mentally.

“Wake up Heath.” Sebastian pushed the door with a radiant smile. Bastard!

“I’m up. Thanks to you.” Turning he went into the kitchen.

“Breakfast is ready. Come on.” I grumbled a few profanities and brushed my teeth and changed into some neat clothes.
