“Right,” Alpha Ragnarr looked at his son and said with regret. “About your offer, Mallory declined.”

“Declined?” Leofric looked at his father in confusion.

“Yes,” he said. “She said that she doesn’t want to mate with you just yet. Though it seems like it’s an understandable reason, the thing is, I think she doesn’t want to do it with you?”

A serious of emotions crossed his eyes. “She… Doesn’t want to? But, why?”

“She told me that she’s mentally drained at the moment,” Alpha Ragnarr smiled at him. “But I don’t think so.”

“She lied?” Leofric frowned.
