Chapter 3 Meet me in the office...!

Juliette's point of view...

"Were you the one in the staff room earlier?" he asked and I froze.

But still, my subconscious mind forced me to think another way.

Who the hell is he to ask me?

I rolled my eyes over his handsome face and attractive body and blurted out in my straight attitude.

"Who the hell are you to ask me? It's none of your business...!" I smacked while turning around to run away to my class.

Though he is not a student, he isn't a professor either. Who on hell works as a professor with that face and body?

Rushing towards the class, I didn't even bother to turn back once to face him. If I do, I may fall for him.

My my...he was...ugh...!!

"Guys time to play...!" I announced the moment I stepped in. Everyone started screaming in joy.

Getting settled, I started working on the reports and Scarlett started writing her notes.

It was afternoon already and two consecutive periods of arts, I mean leisure was like candy for the kids.

They were shouting, playing, enjoying their time until the door of the classroom flung open revealing Mrs. Jackson, the principal, clearing her throat. A sudden silence spread across and everyone stared at her unusual visit.

It was common for the principal to keep on a watch but she seldom enters any class. I thought she was here just to peek and would leave once done with her check.

But...!

"May I have your attention please?" she said while a piece of chalk drifted toward me. I lifted my gaze only to notice that all the other students in my class were on their feet. I turned my head towards the teacher's desk and met a familiar pair of piercing, blue eyes that penetrated right into my soul.

It wasn't my favorite thing to see in this whole world.

What the hell was going on?

It was the same guy that I bumped into earlier. Did he just complain about that thing to the principal?

I pushed my ass and stood staring at him. He rolled all around the class before settling down his gaze on me. He frowned and I felt my palms numb.

He had his arms crossed before his chest, which made it very clear that he was pissed off. Setting my pen aside, I gulped.

No man...!

I was damn sure he was here to vent out his ego that I just rumpled.

Mrs. Jackson moved closer to the desk and forced a smile after setting her glasses.

"Well, I am here to introduce someone to you all!"

She said and turned around to see the man behind her,

"Meet Mr. Richard Solmon, your new art teacher" the class reverberated with a loud 'wow'.

Girls were more excited than the boys anyway. But I was like hit by a huge ball in my face.

Dumbfounded...!

Is this true...!

How could it be God...!

How could he be a teacher?

I was still speculating the things that turned out to be more than anything to take for my brain.

A good girl, a class topper, and more than anything, an image of a teacher's pet everything just got demolished. I talked to him so rudely and I am sure he is going to hold grudges against me.

Mrs. Jackson left the class and everyone settled except for me. Still gaping at him for any excuses to run out of his class immediately so that at least he won't kill me.

He turned around sharply to face me, "Do I have to announce specifically for you to sit down?" he grunted and I jerked sitting down.

"Oh my god...! Is he a teacher...! I mean look at him man I can do anything to get beneath him" Scarlett nudged while whispering in my ears. I hung my head in disbelief avoiding everything going inside my ears other than what Mrs Jackson had just announced.

This can't be true...! How could I have a fate like this?

"Hmm..." he groaned. "Let's t begin," and with that,

he turned around and walked back towards the teacher's desk.

"Okay, today-," he sputtered taking out some sheets from an envelope beside him.

"I thought there won't be a class for the fourth year today but destiny wants us to meet" his words were common but I do feel like they were cornered to me.

Was he talking about me? Destiny...! My foot...!

It was all done by me...!

I regret doing it though.

He arched an eyebrow at me, and said in a sneering tone,

"I heard a lot about your class, full of genius students but don't think it is"

I took a deep breath as his eyes fixated on me and that wasn't a friendly gaze. He was clearly throwing daggers at me. Feeling the blood rush to my cheeks, I bent to my desk immediately and closed my eyes tightly trying to shrug it off.

This is going to be so hard to deal with. I have to apologize or he will surely make it hard for me.

As I didn't lift my gaze, he continued to take his class and I sat motionless as if I wasn't even present at that place.

Soon a buzz of vibration in my phone got my attention, taking it out I almost screamed excitedly.

"Wow..." but soon I realized that it wasn't me alone whose attention was grabbed,

"That's enough...!" he grunted.

What the hell...!

I already jotted my name in his odds, he walked up to me, his hands shoving back his hair. He was irritated and that was evident on his face when his jaws clenched.

"What's your name?" he asked venomously while his fingers tapped on my desk. I stood up immediately while my head hung down.

Will he report me to the principal if I tell him my name, this time?

No shit...! Mrs. Jackson will definitely call Mom over this time.

"Sir, I...a.. m sorry" I stuttered but he gritted again,

"I asked, what's your name...!" I gulped down as his anger was dreadful. I don't have a way out.

I successfully got on his nerves.

"Juliette...!" I replied in a very slow tone. He raised his chin and released a warn breath,

"Meet me in the office...!" his words sharp as if staying with a knife.

I am done for...!

"Yes, sir" I murmured staring at the ground.

What is he going to do? Why did he call me to the office?

I better apologize before he can vent his anger on me. But...!

Will I get the chance to do so?

Ugh...! Why life is so hard?
